Download the flash update on a USB drive. These updates are available on the support page of Ricoh or through emails to technical or registered Ricoh dealers. If you can access and download the update, save it to the USB drive.

Turn off the copier. Failure to do so will cause the flashing process is not completed or avoid being performed.

Connect the USB drive to a USB port charged the copier and turn it on. If you can not locate the USB drive, you may need to remove the side panels in the rear of the copier. If the machine has more than one USB slot and does not respond when you plug the flash drive is not activated. Use another USB port on.

Once the update is acknowledged, the flashing process will start automatically. Depending on the update or the software being flashed, you may have to answer the questions that appear on the touch screen of the copier.
