How to troubleshoot the DocuPrint C525A?

August 16, 2013 By Partner's Quest

A copier and printer are essential components of any office. The DocuPrint C525A is a printer model that can print from a computer source or make a quick copy if you are working with a copy. This copier is designed to work for thousands of print jobs, but as with any other type of office equipment, on occasions you may experience problems. If you do, you try to take steps to solve them – www.CopierRepairMilwaukee.com.

Instructions

1
Check the switch to “On” on your computer and make sure it is set to “On” if you can not print. If the switch is set to “On” and the copier does not turn on, check the power cord to make sure it is connected to a working electrical outlet. If the unit still does not turn, you have to contact a technician.

2
Open the front cover of the unit by pulling down the top of the cover if you see the error “paper jam” on the screen . Look inside the printer and remove any pieces of paper that may be stuck inside the copier rollers. Extract the paper and close the front cover to resume.

3
Open the input tray at the rear of the copier pulling down the cover if the error message “Paper Jam” continues or if there is no paper jammed in the printer head. Check inside for the area and remove the paper jam. Close the tray and try printing again.

4
Open the front cover of the copier if you see that there are stains on the pages when printed or copied or go darker elements than normal. This means that the inside of the printer is dirty. Pull the lever on the right side of the inside of the printer until it stops. Insert the cleaning rod into the hole on the right side of the printer and push and pull it several times to clean the printer. Push the lever back into place and close the lid.

5
Turn off the printer and check the interface cable that connects the unit to the computer if it is on but does not print when you try to submit a job. If the cable is connected correctly, but still you can not print, check the printer and the network configuration to ensure that the computer recognizes the printer. If not, you can install the appropriate drivers from the installation disk – www.CopierRepairMilwaukee.com.

1
Test the telephone line with another phone to make sure it functions properly if you do not hear a dial tone.

2
Make sure the document is not wrinkled, that is the correct size and that the control panel is closed if the document can not enter the machine.

3
